SWISS Senses debuts on the Zurich–Seoul route

From March 29, 2026, SWISS is opening a new chapter in intercontinental travel. The latest Airbus A350, equipped with the innovative SWISS Senses cabin, will debut on the Zurich–Seoul route. Following Zurich–Boston, the capital of South Korea becomes the second destination served by this modern aircraft and the first in Asia.

Flight schedule

The new route will be operated three times a week, offering passengers a completely new quality of long-haul travel. The flight will take approximately 11 hours, which is around 50 minutes shorter compared to the Airbus A340 currently serving this route.

A new dimension of travel comfort

The introduction of the Airbus A350 is not just a change of aircraft, but above all a new level of travel experience. A key element of the new offering is the SWISS Senses concept, designed with maximum passenger comfort in mind. It includes a modern cabin design, more ergonomic seats, and solutions that enhance well-being during long intercontinental journeys.

One of the most important features of the cabin is Human Centric Lighting – an intelligent lighting system that adjusts the color and intensity of light to passengers’ circadian rhythms. This helps reduce the effects of jet lag and supports easier adjustment after arrival.

What is SWISS Senses?

SWISS Senses is a comprehensive travel experience concept based on the harmonious combination of technology, design, and passenger well-being. Its foundation is a “human-centric” approach, placing people at the center of service design.

In practice, this means not only more comfortable seating and greater personal space, but also improved air quality, optimized cabin acoustics, and carefully refined visual and sensory details. The goal is to create a more relaxing and intuitive travel environment that reduces fatigue and enhances comfort at every stage of the journey.

New destination, new opportunities

The launch of the Zurich–Seoul route with the SWISS Senses standard marks an important step in the airline’s network development and its premium strategy. It also responds to the growing demand for travel to Asia and the need to offer increasingly high-quality services on long-haul routes.

Thanks to the new Airbus A350 and the SWISS Senses concept, traveling to Seoul becomes not only faster, but above all more comfortable and tailored to the needs of modern passengers.
