Rzeszów Airport to lift hand luggage liquid limits this autumn

Rzeszów-Jasionka Airport will become the fourth airport in Poland to scrap the hand luggage liquid limit. Installation of advanced 3D scanners should be completed by autumn, allowing passengers to carry up to two liters of liquids on board.
Three C3-standard X-ray scanners worth around PLN 11 million will soon be installed at the airport. Once operational, they will eliminate the current 100 ml restriction on liquid containers.
The change aims to speed up security checks and reduce queues. Rzeszów will follow Kraków and Poznań, where similar scanners are already in use, and Warsaw’s Chopin Airport, which will implement them later this year.
After the upgrade, passengers will no longer need to separate liquids into 100 ml bottles. Full-size cosmetics and drinks will once again be allowed in carry-on luggage — a major convenience, especially for frequent flyers and families with children.
