LOT expands in Spain and Portugal. More flights from Warsaw and Krakow

Polish carrier LOT is intensifying its operations in Southern Europe. In 2026, the airline will increase the number of flights to Spain and Portugal and introduce new routes from Warsaw and Krakow. The move is part of LOT’s broader strategy to expand its network and attract business travelers.
From spring 2026, LOT will double its daily flights from Warsaw to Madrid and Barcelona. The new routes to Málaga, Madrid, Barcelona, and Porto will further strengthen the airline’s presence on the Iberian Peninsula.
Barcelona and Madrid remain key business destinations, while new flights from Krakow will test LOT’s ability to compete with Ryanair and Wizz Air. The upcoming summer season promises to be a crucial test of the airline’s Iberian expansion.
