First Michelin Keys for Polish Hotels. Twelve Properties in the Global Selection

For the first time, Polish hotels have been awarded Michelin Keys. In the 2025 global selection, 12 properties from Poland were recognized – five received two Keys and seven received one. The program is designed as a hotel counterpart to Michelin Stars for restaurants.
Polish Hotels with Two Michelin Keys
The highest distinction in Poland – two Michelin Keys – went to Raffles Europejski Warsaw, EN Hotel Zakopane, Hotel Copernicus in Kraków, Relais & Châteaux Hotel Quadrille – Adults Only in Gdynia, and Jaskółka Dom i SPA in Szklarska Poręba.
According to the Michelin Guide, two Keys are given to places that are “unique in every way,” combining distinctive character, exceptional service, and an authentic sense of place.
One Michelin Key for Seven Hotels
One Key, which signifies a “special stay,” was awarded to Pałac Ciekocinko Hotel Resort & Wellness, H15 Luxury Palace and Stradom House in Kraków, Zamek Łeba, Hotel Bristol in Warsaw, Hotel Altus Palace in Wrocław, and Bachleda Residence Zakopane.
Michelin describes these as hotels with an individual style and service level exceeding expectations within their price range.
Poland Included for the First Time
This is the first edition of the Michelin Keys program to include Poland. Last year’s guide featured 32 recommended Polish hotels, such as Puro, Nobu, InterContinental Warsaw, and Copernicus, but that stage served only as nominations.
This year, Michelin inspectors visited more than 7,000 hotels worldwide, awarding one, two, or three Keys to 2,457 of them. The evaluation was based on five criteria: service quality, concept consistency, authenticity of experience, character of the place, and value for money.
Europe Leads the Rankings
The awards ceremony took place at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris. France received the most distinctions (203), followed by Italy (188) and Germany (130). With over a thousand recognized hotels, Europe remains the most represented region.
Michelin’s International Director, Gwendal Poullennec, noted that the Keys highlight places where “design, service, and location create unforgettable moments,” just as Michelin Stars have long set the benchmark in gastronomy.
