Air Canada Named Best Airline in North America by Skytrax 2025

At this year’s Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025, presented at the Paris Air Show, Air Canada was named the Best Airline in North America. This prestigious recognition, often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry,” was based on feedback from over 22 million travelers worldwide.

Air Canada won a total of nine awards, including:

World’s Best Business Class Lounge Dining – for the culinary offering at the Air Canada Signature Suite in Toronto (for the second consecutive year),
Best Cabin Crew in North America and Best Cabin Crew in Canada,
Best Low-Cost Airline in Canada – for its subsidiary Air Canada Rouge,
Most Family Friendly Airline in North America,
Best Premium Economy Class Onboard Catering and Best Business Class Onboard Catering in North America,
Best Business Class Lounge in North America.
