Poland climbs in the business meetings ranking

Poland has joined the group of leaders in the global market for conferences and business events. According to the latest report by the Polish Tourism Organisation, in 2024 our country ranked 19th worldwide and 12th in Europe in terms of the number of international events held.
Companies focus on people
Almost half of all meetings in Poland were corporate events and incentive trips. Conferences and congresses accounted for 46% of the market, while trade fairs made up only 5%. Companies are increasingly using events as a tool for integration and relationship building.
More events in regional cities
In 2024, over 18,900 events were held in Poland, with millions of participants. Warsaw and Kraków remain the largest hubs, but regional cities are expanding dynamically. Bydgoszcz reported a 50% increase in events, Lublin 32%, and Szczecin 38%.
Sustainability in focus
Kraków, Gdańsk, Wrocław and Szczecin have joined the prestigious Global Destination Sustainability Index, introducing eco-friendly solutions in transport, infrastructure and tourism. Sustainability is becoming one of the key criteria when choosing destinations for conferences and events.
