Brussels Airlines upgrades Business Class on long-haul routes
As of April 1, Brussels Airlines has introduced a range of enhancements to its Business Class on long-haul routes. The new strategy is inspired by boutique hotels and is part of a broader investment that also includes redesigned interiors and a modernization of THE LOFT lounge.
New, elegant tableware and accessories
Passengers will enjoy new porcelain – organically shaped dishes in warm, natural tones, featuring distinctive blue and brown accents inspired by the crew uniforms. These are complemented by designer cutlery inspired by the silhouette of an aircraft and new table linens that add an elegant touch to the setting.
A new service philosophy
The collaboration with star chef Arabelle Meirlaen has resulted in a new dining experience onboard Brussels Airlines: passengers can now choose between an expanded cheese platter, a dessert, or freshly cut fruit after the main course.
Hotel-style service onboard
Brussels Airlines cabin crew will serve meals by hand – “like in a boutique hotel” – creating a more intimate and unique atmosphere during the flight. According to the airline, this is not just about service – it’s about building a personal connection with the passenger.
Starting in 2027, the carrier will invest over €100 million to fully renovate the interiors of all classes – Business, Premium Economy, and Economy – as well as to modernize THE LOFT lounge.
