In the summer 2025 season, flydubai is set to significantly strengthen its presence in Poland. The airline will operate as many as 38 weekly flights from Kraków, Warsaw, and Poznań to Dubai International – the world’s second-largest transit hub. This expansion highlights the growing importance of Central and Eastern Europe in the carrier’s global network strategy.
The most notable change will impact Kraków. Between 11 July and 25 August, flydubai will increase the frequency of its Kraków–Dubai route from two to three daily flights. With this move, Kraków will become one of the airline’s key regional gateways. Warsaw will maintain two daily services, while Poznań will be served three times per week.
According to OAG data based on published schedules for the summer 2025 season, flydubai already accounts for over 41% of all air traffic between Poland and GCC countries. This figure underscores the airline’s growing role in the region and its appeal among passengers traveling to and from the Gulf.
The expansion doesn’t stop there. In September 2025, flydubai will launch a new route to Chișinău, with flights to the Moldovan capital operating twice a week. More additions are planned for December, when Riga and Vilnius will finally join the airline’s network. These destinations were originally scheduled to launch in the winter 2024/2025 season, but delivery delays from aircraft manufacturers forced a postponement.
flydubai’s latest decisions reflect a clear commitment to the Central and Eastern European market. By responding to increasing demand and diversifying its route map, the airline continues to build a strong foundation for future growth in the region.
