The first quarter of 2025 brought significant gains for SKY express, with the Greek airline reporting a 10% increase in total passenger traffic and an 8.5% rise in revenue compared to the same period last year. The most notable growth occurred in international operations, where passenger numbers surged by 27%.

International expansion remains a cornerstone of the airline’s strategy. In 2024, SKY express expanded its network from 15 to 22 international destinations, adding routes to cities such as Amsterdam, Vienna, Istanbul, Prague, and Tbilisi. This development not only enhanced Greece’s connectivity but also led to a 33.5% increase in available seats on international routes.

Domestically, SKY express continues to lead the Greek market, serving the largest number of destinations in the country—33 in total. Key hubs such as Athens (+10%), Thessaloniki (+5.5%), and Heraklion (+8.8%) recorded notable growth, underlining their strategic importance within the airline’s national network.

The carrier’s fleet now includes 27 aircraft and remains one of the youngest in Greece. In 2025, two additional Airbus A320neo aircraft are expected to join the fleet, reinforcing SKY express’s commitment to operational reliability, environmental responsibility, and continued growth.
