New Hotel Openings – Kraków and Warsaw Expand Their Hospitality Offering

The beginning of 2025 marked a wave of significant hotel investments in Poland’s largest cities. The expansion of the accommodation base in Kraków and Warsaw reflects the ongoing demand in both the tourism and business sectors, as well as rising expectations for design, comfort, and service quality. The newly opened properties enrich the market with lifestyle, boutique, and premium options, setting new benchmarks in hospitality.

Moxy Warsaw City – Marriott International’s New Urban Addition

In the heart of Warsaw’s Wola district, on Towarowa Street, the second Moxy hotel in the capital has officially opened its doors. Located next to the Hilton hotel, Moxy Warsaw City features 263 guest rooms designed with the modern traveler in mind. The architectural concept was developed by AGK Architekci, while the investment was led by a Turkish capital group known for its involvement in Hampton by Hilton Warsaw Reduta and a hotel complex under the Campanile and Première Classe brands at the former Gromada Hotel site near Chopin Airport.

The April 2025 opening marked the sixth Moxy property in Poland, following earlier launches in Poznań, Katowice, Szczecin, and Warsaw Praga. The hotel brings an energetic blend of design, social space, and functionality tailored to young, tech-savvy guests.

Focus Hotels Made Its Debut in Kraków

Polish hotel group Focus Hotels S.A., part of the IMMOBILE Capital Group, entered the Kraków market with its first property in the city. Through a lease agreement with the owner of the Garden Square Hotel on Sucha Street, the four-star hotel was rebranded in April as Focus Hotel Premium Kraków.

The property features 75 rooms and suites, 150 square meters of conference space, a gym, a sauna, and a kids’ playroom. Guests can also enjoy the 4Seasons restaurant, which is equipped to host private events for up to 120 guests. The Kraków opening is part of the group’s broader expansion strategy, with new hotels also planned in Wrocław and Olsztyn later this year.

Experior Boutique Hotel – A Touch of Belle Époque in Kraków

Dobry Hotel, the company behind the Destigo Hotels brand, has opened its latest five-star property in the very heart of Kraków. The Experior Boutique Hotel, located on Szewska Street, boasts 40 elegant rooms, a restaurant, and a wellness zone. Inspired by the golden age of travel and the legendary Orient Express, the interiors evoke the sophisticated atmosphere of the belle époque era.

The hotel, inaugurated in late February 2025, became the 25th property in the Destigo Hotels portfolio. With its focus on character, individuality, and top-tier service, the hotel targets discerning guests seeking a unique and luxurious stay. As CEO Leszek Mięczkowski highlighted, the group’s continued growth and diversified offer remain key to meeting the evolving expectations of domestic and international travelers alike.
