Lufthansa First Class Check-in Area opens at Munich Airport

Lufthansa First Class Check-in Reopens in Munich

The exclusive Lufthansa First Class check-in area has been reopened. This dedicated space for the highest class of travel is located in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport. First Class guests, HON Circle members, Senators, and Star Gold cardholders can make use of the stylish and comfortable space to collect their boarding passes, drop off their baggage, relax, and pass through a dedicated security checkpoint. Booking changes can also be made at a specially designated ticketing counter.

Boarding Passes

Boarding passes can also be conveniently and quickly issued through the airline’s app or online 30 hours before departure. Once the boarding pass is saved, travelers are kept up-to-date on any changes regarding their flight. At the airport, boarding passes can also be printed at self-service check-in kiosks.

Baggage Drop-off

Baggage drop-off areas for Lufthansa are located in Terminal 2. Travelers arriving via the Lufthansa Express Bus can drop off their baggage at self-service kiosks immediately upon arrival at the bus station. At Munich Airport, baggage can also be dropped off independently at self-service kiosks. Simply scan your boarding pass at a baggage tag printer and attach the tag to the long side of your luggage. Premium kiosks for self-service baggage drop-off are available in the departure hall at counters 470–474. Baggage tags for First Class, Business Class, and status customers receive “Priority” or “HON” markings to ensure priority baggage unloading at the destination airport.

Finding Your Gate

After check-in and security screening, travelers should proceed to their departure gate. Information about the gate can be found on the boarding pass, in the Lufthansa app, and on the airport's information boards.

Getting to Munich Airport

Munich Airport is located to the northeast of Bavaria’s capital and is well-connected to the city. It is easily accessible by car, taxi, bus, or public transport. Lufthansa Group airlines and their partners are located in Terminal 2, providing convenience for travelers.

The reopening of the First Class area at Munich Airport reaffirms Lufthansa’s commitment to providing the highest level of comfort and exclusive services for its premium customers.
