Lufthansa Allegris on new routes in 2025
Onboard Lufthansa Allegris to Shanghai, Chicago, and San Francisco
Lufthansa Allegris is the new travel standard being implemented by the German airline across all travel classes. In 2025, the Allegris option will be available on additional routes. To recall, the first flight with the Allegris standard took place on May 1, 2024, aboard the A350 from Munich to Vancouver. In 2025, travelers will be able to enjoy the Allegris standard on flights from Munich to Chicago (LH434/LH435), San Francisco (LH458/LH459), and Shanghai (LH726/LH727). These connections will be available starting March 30, 2025, but reservations can already be made now.
Lufthansa Allegris, available on long-haul aircraft in Economy Class, Premium Economy, Business Class, and First Class, offers travelers innovative solutions, greater flight comfort, and customization options on many levels.
Choosing a Preferred Seat
Lufthansa Allegris allows travelers to reserve a preferred seat in all travel classes up to 52 hours before departure. Travelers who do not make an advance seat reservation will be assigned one of the remaining seats free of charge no later than at check-in. Before selecting a seat, it is recommended to review the seat map on board.
Seat Options in Business Class
The Allegris Business Class offers a choice of five different options. A classic Business Class seat can be reserved free of charge, providing all the benefits of the new product. However, there is an option to reserve seats with additional comfort for an extra fee. The fee depends on loyalty program status or selected fare. Guests can choose from Business Class Suite with closing doors, Extra Space Seat with more room, Privacy Seat by the window, and Extra Long Bed with a bed length of 2.2 meters.
Benefits for HON Circle and Senator Members
HON Circle members and travelers with Senator status can enjoy special privileges when booking Lufthansa Allegris flights. Depending on their status, up to 80% of preferred Business Class seats can be reserved free of charge.
