New destinations in LOT's winter schedule for the 2024/2025 season

Where will LOT take us in the winter 2024/2025 season?

Polish Airlines LOT has unveiled its list of destinations for the upcoming winter season. The 2024/2025 season will commence on October 31, 2024, and conclude on March 31, 2025. Travelers will be able to fly to destinations typically associated with summer vacations, such as Dubrovnik. However, there are also some surprises this season, including the reinstatement of flights to Larnaca, Cyprus, and Lyon, France. Additionally, LOT has introduced several new destinations. Winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to flights to Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol. The biggest highlight, though, is the introduction of flights to Tenerife. For the first time, LOT will fly to the Canary Islands, starting November 27, 2024.

Extended connections to Dubrovnik

LOT's flights to Dubrovnik will remain available in November and December, with operations continuing until January 7, 2025. Flights will resume on March 1, offering two weekly connections on Tuesdays and Saturdays to Dubrovnik's Rudjer Bošković Airport. The flight duration to Dubrovnik is approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes. Known as the "Pearl of the Adriatic," Dubrovnik is an exceptional example of a well-preserved former city-state, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its unique character and historical significance make it a must-visit destination.

LOT resumes flights to Lyon

Flights to Lyon, the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and France's third-largest city, will commence on September 30, 2024. These flights will be available six times a week, from Sunday to Friday, excluding Saturdays. Traveling to Lyon presents a unique opportunity to explore the rich culinary heritage of this region of France, as well as to visit a dynamic economic hub with a rich history that has earned it the nickname "Little Paris."

Flights to Larnaca return

After a two-year hiatus, LOT will resume direct flights to sunny Cyprus on October 28, 2024. Flights from Warsaw to Larnaca will be available four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The flight time is approximately 3.5 hours each way. Cyprus is not only known for its broad, sandy beaches but also for its favorable climate and mild winters, making it an attractive destination year-round.

To Innsbruck and beyond into the Alps

Flights to Innsbruck are the first new destination announced for LOT's winter schedule 2024/2025. The inaugural flight is set for November 29, 2024, with connections available until March 28, 2025. Travelers can fly to the Tyrolean capital once a week, every Friday, with a flight duration of just 1.5 hours. The connection, served by a Boeing 737, will significantly ease the planning of winter holidays in the Alps, providing convenient access to some of Europe’s most renowned ski resorts.

New! LOT flies to Tenerife

A major highlight of LOT's winter schedule will be flights to Tenerife. The Polish carrier will reach Reina Sofía Airport on one of the largest Canary Islands starting November 27, 2024. Flights to this popular European winter destination will be available three times a week, on Fridays, Sundays, and Wednesdays. The Boeing 737-operated flights will take approximately six hours one way. With its warm climate, numerous beaches, and stunning landscapes, including the trekking trails of Teide National Park, Tenerife offers a wide range of attractions for tourists seeking a winter escape.
