Greater privacy and comfort on board. World Business Class ensures a successful and peaceful flight. Whether you're traveling privately or for business, the conditions offered during the flight will meet the expectations of even the most demanding travelers. The World Business Class project on intercontinental routes was created in collaboration with renowned Dutch designer Hella Jongerius, all to create an atmosphere of privacy, comfort, and warmth.

Priority boarding

The SkyPriority service ensures not only priority boarding but also comfort while waiting in one of the airport lounges.

Baggage allowance

Passengers traveling in World Business Class can bring two pieces of hand baggage and an accessory with a total weight of up to 18 kg. Regarding checked baggage, applicable limits allow for the carriage of 2 items, each weighing up to 32 kg.

Welcome drink

Once you've taken your seat, settle in comfortably and start your journey with a glass of champagne, orange juice, or another favorite beverage.

Comfort kit

Passengers in World Business Class also receive a set of travel accessories, including a toothbrush, toothpaste, and protective lip balm packed in an elegant cosmetic bag. Additionally, they have access to a pillow and blanket.

Experience my privacy

During intercontinental flights, passengers in World Business Class are guaranteed a seat by the window or aisle. In addition to extra legroom, each seat can be reclined to a fully flat bed.

Sky office

Are you traveling for business and don't want to miss out on your duties? World Business Class provides you with the necessary space and the opportunity to charge your personal devices, such as a laptop or phone. Each seat is equipped with a built-in socket with a voltage of 110 V AC or a USB A port. Increasingly, KLM flights also offer free WiFi onboard, allowing you to send emails.

Entertainment

Passengers traveling in World Business Class have access to a multimedia set with a 16 or 18-inch screen and noise-canceling headphones. For personal Bluetooth headphones, you'll need to have your own adapter. On board, you can watch the latest blockbuster movies, popular series, and other entertainment programs.

Exquisite Flavors from Top Chefs

True culinary delights onboard World Business Class flights are ensured by the best chefs. Currently, Jonnie Boer is responsible for the selection of dishes, and the wine selection is curated by sommelier Thérèse Boer. Following the principle of seasonality, the menu is changed every three months. Only the freshest ingredients are used to prepare the dishes.

What’s on the menu?

In the current menu, you will find starters such as smoked beef carpaccio with garlic-caper dressing, olives, sweet and sour mushrooms, marinated celery, onions, and toasted sunflower seeds, or optionally, carrot soup with cumin. As a side, mesclun salad with toasted sunflower seeds and cocktail tomatoes served with Italian balsamic vinaigrette is served. For the main course, there is a vegetarian Stroganoff (i.e., pepper stew with Stroganoff sauce, fried onions, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, rice, and buckwheat), sesame salmon with broccoli, roasted tomatoes, and couscous, or chicken leg in star anise sauce served with braised green cabbage, buckwheat tartlet, mashed potatoes, and hazelnut crumble. For dessert, you can choose between a plate of Gooische Caractère cheeses, raisins with blue cheese, Old Beemster served with crackers and grapes, or a Petit Grand dessert with cappuccino ganache, caramel cake, and sticky toffee tartlet.

In the World Business Class offering, there is also a wide selection of snacks as well as hot and cold beverages available upon request at any time.

Delft Blue Houses

End of the journey? KLM has something prepared for World Business Class passengers. These are Delft Blue houses, miniature replicas of Dutch canal houses. These unique gifts have been present on KLM flights since the 1950s and are a real treat for collectors.
