New Visa Pricing Policy: China Reduces Visa Fees

China has decided to reduce the fees for entry visas, marking a significant shift in their immigration policy. The new rates will be effective from December 11, 2023, until the end of 2024, as announced by the Chinese Embassy in Poland.

The standard visa application fee for citizens of Schengen countries has been lowered to just 195 PLN per person after the reduction. This is undoubtedly favorable news for travelers planning a visit to the scenic landscapes of China. However, for citizens of other countries, visa fees will depend on their nationality and the number of intended entries. Detailed information can be obtained directly from the consular staff.

It's worth noting that the fee for expedited services remains unchanged. Additionally, an additional handling fee of 110 PLN per person will be levied for applicants opting for expedited services.

Furthermore, visa applications submitted before December 11, 2023, will be processed according to the previous fee schedule. This change in visa pricing policy is undoubtedly a significant step that may impact China's attractiveness as a tourist destination.
