SWISS Takes Flight to Rotterdam
On January 22, 2024, SWISS airline will introduce new flights to Rotterdam in its flight schedules. This marks the first time the Swiss carrier will operate flights to the second-largest city in the Netherlands, following Amsterdam. With this expansion, the airline aims to connect with the metropolitan region of Randstad in the western part of the Netherlands. SWISS will fly to Rotterdam six times a week from Zurich.
Rotterdam's Significance as a Business Hub
Situated in the delta of the Rhine and Meuse rivers, Rotterdam plays a crucial role as an economic and cultural center in the Netherlands. The city also serves as a vital transportation hub, intersecting key highways and serving as a nexus for maritime and rail transport routes. Rotterdam boasts the largest port in Europe, spanning over 40 kilometers.
