Kraków Tourism Alliance launches tourist card from PLN 170

The Kraków Tourism Alliance has launched a tourist card in three versions valid for 24, 48 or 72 hours. They cost PLN 170, PLN 255 and PLN 295, respectively. The card includes admission to selected museums and galleries, partner discounts and unlimited public transport in Zones I, II and III.

Three options from PLN 170

The 24-hour card costs PLN 170. The 48-hour version is PLN 255, while the 72-hour card costs PLN 295. All three options include the same attractions and partner discounts; the difference is the period of validity.

For a short stay, value depends largely on how many participating attractions a visitor can realistically fit into the card's validity period. The 24-hour option in particular requires careful planning if several museums are on the itinerary.

Rynek Underground among included museums

Participating attractions include Rynek Underground, the Sukiennice gallery, Jan Matejko House, Podgórze Museum, the Museum of Photography and the Museum of Engineering and Technology. The list also includes Małopolska Science Centre Cogiteon, the Archaeological Museum, the Home Army Museum and the Galicia Jewish Museum.

The card also covers Huta Sztuki Gallery and galleries devoted to Zdzisław Beksiński and Jerzy Duda-Gracz. Cardholders receive discounts from partners including restaurants, bicycle rental businesses and city game operators.

Trams and buses in three zones

Unlimited journeys on Kraków's buses and trams in Zones I, II and III are included during the card's validity period. The card does not cover train travel.

Wawel not included in the card

Some museums may require advance reservations, so visitors should check entry rules for the individual venue before finalising their itinerary.

Wawel, St. Mary's Church and the Czartoryski Museum are not currently included. The card does not cover admission to those sites.

Digital or plastic version available

The card is available digitally through an app or as a plastic card at official tourist information points. At the point of sale, staff activate the physical card for the selected start date and time.

A plastic card costs an additional PLN 5.
