PKP Intercity presents a new timetable for the 2023/2024 season

PKP Intercity is preparing for the 2023/2024 season, presenting an impressive timetable. Increasing the number of year-round and seasonal trains, as well as new international connections, are key elements of the update.

In the new timetable, PKP Intercity plans to operate 417 trains on average daily, increasing the number by 27 compared to the current schedule. During the holiday season, the number of trains will increase to 454, and the number of year-round international connections will increase from 52 to 63.

Interesting additions include new international connections such as the IC Odra train, connecting Krakow with Berlin, or the IC Danubius service, providing a connection between Wroclaw and Krakow with Vienna. The IC Chopin connection will also extend its route from Warsaw to Munich, covering three countries.

In the domestic context, new connections will appear, such as the TLK Szczeliniec train linking Krakow with Jelenia Góra, or the IC Heweliusz and TLK Rozewie trains operating from the Tricity through Bydgoszcz to the southern part of Lower Silesia.

Additionally, adapting to modernization works, PKP Intercity plans changes in traffic organization on routes undergoing renovations, while ensuring higher travel comfort through new and modernized trains.

Also noteworthy is the increase in the number of trains covered by graphical seat reservation, allowing passengers to conveniently choose seats in the carriage.
