New Paczkomat® InPost Service at Poznań-Ławica Airport

Nowa usługa Paczkomat® InPost na lotnisku Poznań-Ławica

New Paczkomat® InPost service at the security control zone! A new service at the passenger terminal of Poznań-Ławica Airport! Since April 3, 2024, travelers can benefit from this new convenience. The airport is responding to passengers' needs by providing the Paczkomat® InPost facility.

Who is this service for? In situations where an item in your carry-on luggage is prohibited in the aircraft cabin but should be in checked baggage, such as perfumes in containers exceeding 100 ml, or sentimental souvenirs resembling prohibited items, you can now send them via the Paczkomat® to another InPost machine or to a specified address. Previously, such items, according to safety regulations, had to be discarded.

The Paczkomat® is designed for travelers whose carry-on items are questioned during security checks. Located in the departure hall of Poznań Airport, after entering the security control area, it offers a solution for passengers facing such situations.

To use the Paczkomat®, passengers need to place the disputed item in a drawstring bag, seal it properly, pack it in a suitable-sized cardboard box, and deposit it in the Paczkomat® compartment. Shipments are processed via the InPost Mobile application.

At the airport, the Paczkomat® allows for domestic shipping to another InPost machine or via courier to a specified address. After placing the shipment in the device, passengers can proceed through security checks without hindrance. This innovative solution facilitates travel, providing an alternative for passengers whose items are questioned during security checks.
