LOT will fly to Saudi Arabia

From June 4, 2024, Polish Airlines will launch direct flights to the capital of Saudi Arabia - Riyadh. The first stage of cooperation between Poland and Saudi Arabia was the signing of an air communication agreement on August 28, 2023. The current agreement was finalized in Riyadh during an event organized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). LOT, in its strategy for 2024-2028, sees tremendous tourist and business potential in its Middle Eastern partner.

Flight schedule to Riyadh

Direct flights between Warsaw and Riyadh will be operated 3 times a week. The connections are already available in reservation systems. Flights to Saudi Arabia will be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. Flights will be operated by a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The plane will depart from the Frederic Chopin Airport at 15:20, with landing in Riyadh scheduled after 5 hours and 30 minutes. Return flights will be operated on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Departures from the capital of Saudi Arabia are scheduled for 01:25.

The potential of Middle Eastern countries

Saudi Arabia does not hide that it wants to achieve success comparable to the development of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai as one of the most popular destinations in the world. The young country wants to develop other branches of the economy based on its tourist potential, not dwindling oil reserves. One of the new pillars is to be the development of aviation infrastructure. The Saudis are implementing their plan in accordance with the "Vision 2030" program.
