PKP Intercity launches Pendolino service to Ustka
PKP Intercity launched its first summer Pendolino service to Ustka on 27 June 2026. The Express InterCity Premium train runs from Bielsko-Biała via Katowice, Warsaw and the Tricity. The service is scheduled to operate until the end of August 2026.
Bielsko-Biała to Ustka route
PKP Intercity has extended the daily Express InterCity Premium service from Bielsko-Biała to Gdynia. During the summer timetable, the train continues to Ustka.
The train arrives in Ustka at 20:21. The return service leaves Ustka at 7:23. The fastest journey time between Ustka and Bielsko-Biała is 8 hours 33 minutes. Warsaw–Ustka takes 4 hours 52 minutes.
Tickets from PLN 29 from the Tricity
According to PKP Intercity, second-class fares to Ustka start from PLN 59 from Katowice, Bielsko-Biała and Warsaw. From the Tricity, the lowest fare starts from PLN 29.
Ustka joins the Baltic destinations served by Pendolino during the summer season. PKP Intercity already runs trains in this category to coastal cities including the Tricity, Kołobrzeg, Szczecin and Świnoujście.
Four year-round train pairs
Passengers can also use four daily year-round PKP Intercity train pairs to Ustka. IC Szkuner and IC Zefir run between Ustka and Przemyśl via cities including Rzeszów, Kraków, Gliwice, Opole, Wrocław, Poznań and Piła.
IC Przemyślanin also runs on the Ustka–Przemyśl route, via Rzeszów, Kraków, Częstochowa, Łódź, Poznań and Piła. IC Gwarek links Ustka with Kraków via Katowice, Wrocław and Poznań.
Słoneczny returns for summer
During the summer season, Koleje Mazowieckie also runs the Słoneczny train between Warsaw and Ustka. It gives passengers a second seasonal rail option between the capital and the resort.
PKP S.A. has also referred to support for further investment around Ustka’s interchange centre. According to Dariusz Grajda, a PKP S.A. board member, land transfer is planned after the required approvals are obtained.
