Turkish Airlines will launch a connection from Katowice to Istanbul
From March 3, Turkish Airlines will open a regular flight from Katowice to Istanbul. Turkish national carrier will offer a route from a Polish regional airport for the first time in history.
Airbus A320 aircraft will serve the route. Flights will occur five times a week: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
- This is essential information regarding the development of Katowice Airport. For the first time, Turkish Airlines will offer a regular connection to Istanbul from a Polish regional airport. It is also very good news for the Silesian Voivodeship, as the new route will facilitate business and scientific contacts and positively impact tourism development. Passengers will also gain access to the network of connections offered by Turkish Airlines from its modern airport in Istanbul - summed up Artur Tomasik, president of the Upper Silesian Aviation Society.
