Krakow Airport: New security control system
Security control is one of the crucial stages in the passenger journey at Krakow Airport, ensuring the safety of passengers and staff throughout the entire trip. As the first airport in Poland, we have implemented a procedure to purchase security control systems for cabin baggage.
The procedure involves the delivery, installation, and commissioning of 10 special, state-of-the-art CT scanners, allowing passengers to keep liquids and electronics in their luggage. Following the example of other airports worldwide, we aim to streamline the screening process and improve the quality of customer service. From experience, we know that CT scanners work exceptionally well with checked baggage. - Radosław Włoszek, CEO of Kraków Airport.
To enhance and expedite the screening process - and above all, to increase passenger comfort and speed of service - Kraków Airport will introduce the latest technological solutions utilizing computed tomography.
