Campanile Introduces the PRIME Concept in Poland
Campanile, operated by Louvre Hotels Group, has begun a major modernisation of its Polish hotels and introduced the new Campanile PRIME concept. The first renovated properties in Warsaw and Kraków are already open, with more scheduled for upgrades. The aim is to raise comfort standards and strengthen the brand’s position on the Polish hotel market.
Campanile, a mid-scale brand with nearly 50 years of history, is currently present in more than 300 hotels across 14 countries. In 2024 the group launched a broad update: new visual identity, redesigned interiors and improved in-room amenities. Service procedures and restaurant formats were also refreshed. The brand maintains its core values – warmth, comfort and responsibility – adapting them to current traveller expectations.
The company is introducing two distinct lines: PRIME, designed for guests seeking urban experiences, and NATURE, which refers back to the brand’s roadside-motel heritage with outdoor-focused spaces. In Poland the transformation opened with PRIME, now available at Campanile Warsaw Centre and Campanile Kraków Old Town.
PRIME hotels focus on enhanced comfort: 30-centimetre mattresses, 100% cotton bedding, Chromecast, and fast Wi-Fi. Guests can use hotel gyms or exercise in their rooms with portable equipment and access to the Decathlon Coach app. Shared spaces include coworking areas, board-game zones and rooms for small events.
The dining offer matches the urban character of PRIME hotels: fresh local breakfast buffets, all-day snacks, and seasonal dishes served in a relaxed bistro style.
Campanile PRIME Warsaw Centre has fully renovated rooms, with gym access available in the adjacent Golden Tulip building. In Kraków the first renovation stage is complete. Hotels in Wrocław, Lublin and Łódź are scheduled for upgrades in 2025.
François Delattre, Vice President for European operations, notes that Poland is a strategic market for the group, where the Campanile brand traditionally enjoys strong recognition.
All Campanile hotels take part in the Hotel Sustainability Basics programme led by the World Travel and Tourism Council. The initiative covers reducing plastic use, lowering water and energy consumption, better waste management and community engagement. All Polish hotels have been certified for 2025, and the PRIME hotels in Warsaw and Kraków have already completed the required three-year cycle.
Louvre Hotels Group manages around 1,750 hotels in 70 countries and belongs to Jin Jiang International Holdings, one of the world’s largest hotel groups. Campanile, founded in 1976, now operates more than 400 hotels with a focus on comfort, simple cuisine and a friendly atmosphere.
