To benefit from InPost services, properly pack an item that may be questioned during security checks, and then dispatch it using the InPost Mobile app. This ensures that valuable items avoid the fate of being discarded and safely return to the owner.

An item subject to questioning during security checks, and chosen for the Paczkomat service, should be placed in a drawstring bag and adequately sealed. Following preparation, passengers can place the item in a cardboard box of suitable dimensions and deposit it in the Paczkomat device. Shipments can be sent via the InPost Mobile app. The airport Paczkomat facilitates domestic shipping to another InPost device or via a courier to a specified address.

After placing the shipment in the device, the passenger undergoes security checks. Wrocław and Katowice Airports are the latest in Poland, following Warsaw Chopin Airport, where passengers can avail themselves of InPost services in case an item is contested in their carry-on luggage during security checks.

It's important to note that courier shipments have limitations and are covered by a protection service up to the amount of 5,000 Polish złoty. For valuable items, we recommend photographic documentation, and if the value exceeds 5,000 złoty, consider splitting the shipment into several packages if possible.
