The best receptionist of 2023 in Poland has been selected

In Poland, the prestigious title of Receptionist of the Year 2023 has been awarded, with the honor going to Jędrzej Król from Sofitel Grand Sopot. The competition, organized by the A.I.C.R Poland association, made a comeback with renewed energy after the COVID-19 pandemic, emphasizing the professionalism and interpersonal skills of hotel staff.

Representatives from renowned hotels, including Sofitel Grand Sopot, Sheraton Grand Warsaw, NYX Hotel Warsaw, Sheraton Sopot Warsaw, Sofitel Warsaw Victoria, Nobu Hotel Warsaw, Royal Tulip Warsaw, and Radisson Blu Sopot, participated in the competition. The final, held at Sofitel Grand Sopot, comprised a multi-stage competition, culminating in both theoretical and practical assessments.

The winners of the competition were Jędrzej Król from Sofitel Grand Sopot, securing the first-place position, Anna Pankova from Sheraton Sopot Hotel, claiming the second spot, and Yeva Zelinska from Sheraton Grand Warsaw, securing the third place.

A.I.C.R Poland, serving as a forum for hoteliers, contributes to industry integration, discussions on common challenges, exchange of experiences, and promotion of Polish tourism. The Receptionist of the Year competition organized by the association holds significance not only at the local but also at the international level. It opens doors for the winners to represent Poland in the David Campbell Trophy competition. The Polish laureate will have the opportunity to represent the country on the French Riviera in February, the place where the association was founded in 1964.
