Four Skytrax 2026 Awards for Qatar Airways

Qatar Airways received four honors at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2026 while retaining its prestigious 5-Star Airline rating.
Key Awards for Qatar Airways
The airline was recognized in the following categories:
- World’s Best Business Class – for the thirteenth time,
- Best Airline in the Middle East – for the fourteenth time,
- World’s Best Business Class Lounge – for the eighth time,
- World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi – the first-ever award in this category.
Qsuite Recognized Once Again
One of the key distinctions was another award for Qatar Airways’ Business Class. The airline’s flagship product, Qsuite, provides private spaces designed for both work and relaxation during the journey. Its distinctive Qsuite Quad configuration allows four center seats to be combined, creating a shared space where passengers can work, dine, or socialize together.
World’s Best Business Class Lounge
Qatar Airways was also recognized for having the World’s Best Business Class Lounge. The award went to Al Mourjan Business Lounge – The Garden at Hamad International Airport in Doha, a space designed around comfort, contemporary design, and relaxation.
Award-Winning Onboard Wi-Fi
A new highlight this year was the World’s Best Onboard Wi-Fi award. Qatar Airways continues to expand onboard connectivity powered by Starlink. According to the airline, more than 25 million passengers have already used the service across more than 96,000 flights.
The Skytrax World Airline Awards are among the most widely recognized distinctions in the aviation industry and are based on passenger feedback from around the world. This year’s results further highlight Qatar Airways’ strong position in premium travel, Business Class service, and onboard connectivity.
