LOT to launch winter flights from Warsaw to Turin
LOT will launch direct flights from Warsaw to Turin on 16 January 2027. The service will operate once a week, on Saturdays, until 27 March 2027. Tickets for the route are now on sale.
Departures from Warsaw at 09:00
The Saturday flight from Warsaw is scheduled to depart at 09:00. The return service from Turin will leave at 12:15. Flight time is 2 hours and 15 minutes in each direction.
LOT plans to use Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on the route. The schedule includes one weekly service, operating only on Saturdays.
Season runs until 27 March 2027
The first flight is scheduled for 16 January 2027 and the last for 27 March 2027. The direct service will operate only during the winter schedule.
Up to 500 kilometres of ski runs
LOT links the route primarily to winter travel in Piedmont. The airline points to Vialattea and Bardonecchia, which together offer up to 500 kilometres of ski runs.
For Turin itself, LOT mentions the Egyptian Museum, Baroque architecture and historic cafés. The airline also presents the city as an option for a short stay alongside a ski trip.
Robert Ludera, LOT Management Board Member for Commercial Affairs, pointed to the short distances between the airport, the city and nearby ski resorts. He also referred to sports equipment as an important consideration on winter trips.
One weekly service
The once-weekly schedule limits departure and return options to Saturdays. Travellers planning a winter trip will need to fit both legs around that timetable.
The direct service avoids a connection between Warsaw and Turin. Scheduled flight time is 2 hours and 15 minutes each way.
