LOT to launch Gdańsk–Paris Orly route

LOT will launch a year-round service between Gdańsk and Paris-Orly on 5 April 2027. The route will operate four times a week and replace the carrier’s Gdańsk–Oslo service. Tickets are already on sale.

Four flights a week

LOT has scheduled flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Departures from Gdańsk are planned for 17:00, with return flights leaving Paris-Orly at 20:20. The flight time is about 2 hours 15 minutes.

Tickets are available through LOT’s website, app, Contact Center and LOT Travel offices. The carrier has not disclosed launch fares or the aircraft type planned for the route. The service will operate throughout the year.

The Paris route is part of changes to LOT’s regional network and will replace Gdańsk–Oslo. LOT has no nonstop flight on this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays.

Orly 25–30 minutes from central Paris

Paris-Orly is about 13 kilometres south of central Paris. LOT notes that the airport is closer to the city centre than Paris Charles de Gaulle.

Metro line 14 links Orly directly with Gare de Lyon and Châtelet-Les Halles. LOT gives a journey time of about 25–30 minutes to central Paris. Tram line T7 and bus services also connect the airport with the city.

For passengers, the metro provides a direct rail link to central Paris without a transfer. The 25–30 minute figure refers to travel to the city centre, not every address in Paris.

Four days a week for business trips

For business travel, the route adds a nonstop option between Gdańsk and Paris on four days each week. Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. A direct LOT service will not be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays.

In LOT’s statement, Robert Ludera, a Management Board member responsible for commercial affairs, described Paris as a major European economic and business centre. He also linked the new route to travel between the Pomerania region and France.

80 years since LOT’s first Paris flight

LOT announced the Gdańsk route in the year marking 80 years of its direct flights between Warsaw and Paris. The carrier operated its first flight on that route on 4 July 1946.

The Gdańsk service will begin after the anniversary year, on 5 April 2027. LOT plans to operate it year-round.
