Lufthansa FOX – A New Standard of Travel on All Long-Haul Flights
More choice, more comfort, and an even more personalized journey. Lufthansa has officially completed the rollout of FOX (Future Onboard Experience), its most comprehensive onboard product transformation in recent years. The new standard is now available across all four travel classes on the airline's long-haul flights.
FOX is the result of several years of development, during which Lufthansa worked closely with both passengers and cabin crews. The new concepts were tested on more than 110 trial flights and refined based on extensive passenger feedback. The goal was to create a seamless travel experience – from boarding to arrival.

First Class – Luxury Refined in Every Detail
Traveling in First Class has become even more exclusive. Guests are welcomed with a personalized handwritten greeting card, while the amenity kit can be selected from a dedicated menu. The kit includes premium skincare products from Dr. Babor.
Passengers departing from Germany can enjoy a new tasting menu created by Michelin-starred chef Christoph Kunz, while the iconic caviar service has been enhanced with elegant details, including a mother-of-pearl spoon and carefully selected accompaniments. Breakfast features optional caviar with eggs, fresh wellness shots, and signature granola.
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame is now the champagne served in First Class, while signature touches such as the rose placed at each seat and fine chocolates continue to define Lufthansa's premium experience.
Business Class – Greater Freedom and Flexibility
Business Class has been redesigned to offer an even more personalized travel experience. On long-haul flights departing from Germany, passengers can enjoy signature menus created by renowned chef Johann Lafer, featuring both classic favorites and lighter dishes.
A new addition is Sky Selection – a flexible second meal service available whenever passengers prefer. The menu includes tapas bowls, currywurst, and macarons. Selected daytime long-haul flights also feature a dedicated coffee and cake service.
Passengers can pre-order their à la carte breakfast the evening before, choosing from omelets, French toast, smoothies, and other breakfast specialties. The upgraded experience also includes new amenity kits, refreshing hot towels, and enhanced cabin equipment.

Premium Economy – Closer to Business Class Than Ever
Premium Economy has been significantly upgraded to provide a more premium travel experience. The journey begins with a welcome drink and concludes with a digestif service. During the flight, passengers can choose from three Business Class-inspired meals, served on brand-new tableware.
The enhanced experience also includes a signature snack between meal services, complimentary refills of coffee, tea, and juices, a new amenity kit with slippers and a hot towel, larger meal trays, fabric napkins, and an expanded beverage selection.
Economy Class – More Comfort for Every Passenger
Passengers traveling in Economy Class can also look forward to a noticeably improved onboard experience. Lufthansa now offers a choice of three hot main meals, including dishes inspired by Germany's beer and bread culture, created in collaboration with bread sommelier Axel Schmitt.
On overnight flights, passengers receive amenity kits with a sleep mask and earplugs, while printed menu cards add a more premium touch to the dining experience. The cabin has also been upgraded with improved equipment, more frequent beverage services, and complimentary coffee and tea refills throughout the flight.

With the introduction of FOX, Lufthansa has raised the standard across every travel class. Greater flexibility, enhanced dining, thoughtful amenities, and a higher level of personalization ensure that every long-haul journey is more comfortable and enjoyable, regardless of the class of travel.
