FlixBus runs summer services to mountain destinations

FlixBus is operating direct services to destinations in the Tatra, Beskid, Sudetes and Bieszczady mountains during summer 2026. The network includes Zakopane, Karpacz, Krynica-Zdrój, Szczawnica, Solina and Ustrzyki Górne. Bicycle spaces can be added to selected bookings.

Zakopane served from five major cities

Zakopane has the highest frequencies listed by the operator. FlixBus schedules 132 weekly services from Kraków and 79 from Katowice. The network also includes 39 weekly services from Wrocław, 33 from Warsaw and 13 from Poznań.

The operator lists 17 weekly services between Warsaw and Tatranská Lomnica in Slovakia. Direct connections to destinations on the Polish and Slovak sides of the Tatra Mountains are available from 11 cities.

Service availability depends on the travel date. Passengers should check their chosen journey in the booking system, as the published timetables do not cover every service available for sale.

Summer links to Krynica-Zdrój and Szczawnica

The Beskid network includes Krynica-Zdrój and Szczawnica. According to the operator, Krynica-Zdrój has direct connections from 15 cities, while Szczawnica is linked with 20.

FlixBus lists 13 weekly services between Kraków and Krynica-Zdrój. Six services a week operate from Katowice to Krynica-Zdrój. The same frequency applies between Gdańsk and Szczawnica.

Direct services to the Sudetes and Bieszczady

In the Sudetes, passengers can travel to Jelenia Góra, Karpacz, Kudowa-Zdrój and Polanica-Zdrój. The Warsaw–Karpacz route operates seven times a week, while Gdańsk–Jelenia Góra has five weekly services.

The network also covers Sanok, Polańczyk, Solina, Cisna, Wetlina and Ustrzyki Górne. FlixBus lists seven weekly services from Gdańsk to Polańczyk. Poznań and Pobierowo each have five weekly services to Ustrzyki Górne.

Bicycle space depends on the service

Passengers can add a bicycle during the booking process. The system then shows services operated by vehicles with bicycle racks or space for a bicycle in a transport bag.

The option is not available on every bus, and capacity is limited. A route serving a particular destination may therefore include journeys that cannot carry bicycles. Availability and price should be checked before payment.

FlixBus buses provide Wi-Fi, power sockets and onboard toilets. Passengers can also track the location of their vehicle through the FlixBus app.
