Brussels Airlines continues to enhance the passenger experience by introducing a range of onboard improvements across all travel classes in 2026. The most significant upgrades are being made to Premium Economy on long-haul flights, where the airline is focusing on greater comfort, enhanced service quality, and a more refined travel experience on every journey.
A New Premium Economy Experience on Long-Haul Flights
From mid-March 2026, passengers traveling in Premium Economy on intercontinental routes can enjoy an upgraded onboard experience. As part of these enhancements, Brussels Airlines introduces:
- new premium chinaware,
- steel cutlery and a high-quality napkin,
- a choice of three hot main courses during the main meal service,
- an enhanced starter,
- improved pre-landing meals on longer flights,
- printed menu cards,
- upgraded headphones for the inflight entertainment system.
These enhancements bring the Premium Economy experience even closer to that of the higher travel classes, offering passengers greater choice and increased comfort throughout long-haul journeys.
Enhancements Across All Travel Classes
The improvements extend beyond Premium Economy. Brussels Airlines is also introducing several upgrades for passengers traveling in other cabin classes:
- an additional food item on the main meal tray in Economy Class on long-haul flights,
- reusable premium cups for alcoholic beverages in Economy Class on both short- and long-haul flights,
- a refreshing towel and a bottle of water before take-off for Business Class passengers on European routes,
- a curtain divider separating Business Class from Economy Class on short-haul flights.

These onboard dining and service enhancements are part of Brussels Airlines' broader investment program aimed at improving the overall passenger experience. The initiative also includes the complete renovation of THE LOFT lounge at Brussels Airport, complimentary Wi-Fi for all passengers, and brand-new cabins across the airline's long-haul fleet.
