Three United Premium Plus Fare Options from 2026
Starting in spring 2026, United Airlines will offer three fare options in United Premium Plus: Base, Standard, and Flexible. While all three provide the same onboard comfort, they differ in the range of additional benefits included.
Base is the entry-level option. Seat selection is available for an additional fee, and the fare includes one checked bag and one carry-on bag. Upgrades are not available, and tickets are non-refundable.
Standard includes complimentary seat selection, two checked bags, and one carry-on bag. Passengers are eligible to request upgrades using cash, miles, or PlusPoints. If travel plans change, the fare may be converted into a travel credit.
Flexible includes all the benefits of the Standard fare while also offering a fully refundable ticket, subject to the airline's fare conditions. It is the ideal option for travelers who value maximum flexibility.
