LOT Launches Direct Flights from Warsaw to San Francisco
LOT Polish Airlines has launched its long-awaited direct service from Warsaw to San Francisco. The inaugural flight departed from Warsaw Chopin Airport on 6 May at 5:40 p.m., offering passengers a new nonstop connection to the U.S. West Coast. The route is operated by the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner.
LOT's Sixth Destination in the United States
San Francisco has become the sixth U.S. destination in LOT Polish Airlines' route network. In addition to the new service, passengers can enjoy direct flights from Warsaw to New York, Newark, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.
Flights to California operate four times a week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Convenient connections via Warsaw Chopin Airport also allow travellers from many cities across Poland to reach San Francisco with ease.
A Route for Business and Leisure Travellers
The launch of the San Francisco route further strengthens LOT Polish Airlines' offering for both business and leisure travellers. The new service provides convenient access to one of the world's leading centres of technology and innovation, located close to Silicon Valley, while also opening the door to one of California's most iconic destinations.

A Special Inaugural Celebration at Warsaw Chopin Airport
Passengers travelling on the inaugural flight enjoyed a festive atmosphere at Warsaw Chopin Airport. A dedicated photo backdrop was prepared for the occasion, while every traveller received a commemorative magnet celebrating the launch of the new route. A live DJ performance added to the celebratory mood, highlighting the leisure appeal of the destination.
The inaugural flight was operated by a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner registered as SP-LRG.
