New dishes and WARS staples

WARS will introduce its Spring–Summer 2026 menu on 14 May 2026 in dining cars on PKP Intercity trains. The new card will include an Asian-style bowl, schiacciata with pulled pork, sous-vide chicken fillet with chorizo sauce and vegan cabbage rolls. WARS will also keep familiar dishes on the menu, including pork cutlet, pierogi and sour rye soup.

The list provided by WARS covers hot dishes, a schiacciata-style snack and dessert. The company also named cheesecake with raspberry topping among the new items.

Part of the menu remains based on dishes associated with rail travel in Poland. WARS named pork cutlet, pierogi and sour rye soup as items staying on the card.

The statement did not give prices or a full item-by-item menu. It also did not say whether all new dishes will be available on every train with a dining car.

The menu is part of WARS’ seasonal change in onboard catering. The company said the card is designed for different passenger needs, including demand for plant-based dishes.
