FlixBus links Poland with 19 Croatian cities

FlixBus will offer direct coach services from Poland to 19 destinations in Croatia in the summer 2026 season. The routes will run from 10 Polish cities, with the shortest Warsaw–Rijeka journey taking 17 hours and 30 minutes. Fares from Poland to Croatia start at PLN 149.99.

The company is expanding capacity on a strong summer leisure route for Polish travellers. According to eVisitor data cited by the Croatian National Tourist Board, Croatia received 1.24 million tourists from Poland in 2025.

FlixBus says direct services to Croatia will run from cities including Warsaw, Kraków, Wrocław, Katowice and Kielce. During the summer holiday season, the Warsaw–Rijeka route is scheduled to operate twice a day.

Nineteen Adriatic destinations

The direct network from Poland includes Zagreb, Rijeka, Split, Zadar, Pula, Trogir, Makarska, Vodice, Dubrovnik, Rovinj, Baška Voda, Biograd na Moru, Krk island, Šibenik, Baška, Omiš, Malinska, Podgora and Ploče.

The network covers major tourist cities and smaller towns on the Adriatic coast. Zagreb, Rijeka and Pula also act as onward points for travellers continuing through Croatia by coach.

For leisure travellers, the key points are departure city, journey time and frequency. The shortest Warsaw–Rijeka journey takes 17 hours and 30 minutes. FlixBus says it plans two daily services on that route during the holiday season.

Croatian network expands after regulatory change

Since December 2025, FlixBus has increased its domestic network in Croatia. The company links the expansion to regulatory changes in the Croatian coach market.

Its Croatian network now covers more than 130 destinations. FlixBus lists 17 daily services on the Zagreb–Rijeka–Pula route, including 6 to Pula. It gives the same total for Zagreb–Varaždin–Čakovec, including 6 to Čakovec. The Zagreb–Osijek route has 8 daily services.

For tourists from Poland, the larger domestic network means more one-stop travel options. FlixBus points to Zagreb, Split and Rijeka as the main hubs for onward journeys within Croatia.

Bikes available on some coaches

FlixBus has again made bicycle transport available on external racks. According to the company, the racks are fitted to about 60 percent of its coaches.

This option may matter for travellers combining coach trips with cycling holidays. Passengers need to check bike-space availability when booking a specific service.
