60 lat temu, 11 sierpnia 1959 r, w Moskwie otwarto lotnisko Szeremietiewo. Początkowo zostało zbudowane jako lotnisko wojskowe, jako symbol odwilży zostało przekształcone w pierwsze radzieckie międzynarodowe lotnisko cywilne. Dzisiaj jest największym rosyjskim lotniskiem pod względem ruchu, operacji i przepustowości.W tym roku lotnisko Szeremietiewo otrzymało imię wielkiego rosyjskiego poety Aleksandra Puszkina.
